Labs take part in CIDR pilot



CIDR piloting is well underway in the North East, NDSC and a number of reference laboratories. Pilot sites are now reporting notifiable diseases through the new computerised system, as well as through existing channels.

Astron Consulting has been contracted to carry out an evaluation of CIDR pilot implementation. Astron's Seamus Seery explains.

Meanwhile the CIDR Project Board has extended pilot implementation by one month.
